As quoted by the club’s official website, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has suggested that Philippe Coutinho’s injury is not going to keep him out for too long.

We were worried that the Brazilian midfielder was going to be out for a while when we first saw him go down at Watford whilst we also feared it could be one of those nights at Vicarage Road.

Instead, though, we stuck it out and got our win via a fantastic Emre Can strike whilst it also now appears that the tricky Brazilian will be back in the fold before too long.

Indeed, Klopp said:

“He has a dead leg, hopefully it’s not too serious but of course it’s really painful and no chance [he could continue]. Everybody could see he tried hard, but no chance.”

Positive news from the boss, then, and we’re hoping that he’ll be fit for the game against Southampton this weekend as we continue our quest for a top four finish.
