As per The Liverpool Echo, Liverpool have turned down an approach from Celtic for young star Harry Wilson ahead of the summer window.

The Scottish champions have earned themselves quite the reputation for using young players to good impact this season with the likes of Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney impressing.

Wilson, then, could benefit from such a system but it appears as though he is a part of Jurgen Klopp’s thinking for the new campaign.

The young winger has been in superb form this season with 28 goals from out wide at U23 level and that would suggest that he is on the brink of making it into the first team.

Of course, he has a lot to prove to get into our attack but if he can do it it’ll be good to see an academy product playing in the side.
