According to The Liverpool Echo, Ryan Sessegnon is still Liverpool’s main target in terms of signing a left-back this summer when the window opens.
We’ve been talking about getting a new left-back all season, of course, and it appears as though the young Fulham star could just be the one to come in.
James Milner has done a good job, to be fair to him, but is always going to be better as a midfielder whilst Alberto Moreno looks to have been deemed not good enough for the club by Jurgen Klopp.
It is Milner that will start again in the final Premier League match of the season against Middlesbrough and you can back Liverpool and bet on the match.
Jon Flanagan, of course, could still play there but hasn’t had a successful time at Burnley this season and so the young star from the Championship might just get his chance.
Of course, it’s a risk given how young he is but he might just prove to be an inspired signing for the Reds.
