According to The Telegraph, Liverpool will spend over £100 million in the summer transfer window to try and sign players good enough to help them challenge at the top of the league.

The Reds, of course, qualified for the Champions League on the last day of the season and providing they get through the play-off round for the 2017/18 edition, they will have plenty more games to come in Europe’s premier competition.

For sure, though, they are going to need more players to help with the hectic schedule and it appears as though the likes of Virgil Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all of interest.

With the market the way it is at the moment, though, we should expect inflated fees and so a fair amount of money is bound to be spent.
