After Huddersfield won the play-off final yesterday afternoon, manager David Wagner revealed that he’s planning on talking with Liverpool over the future of Danny Ward.

The Terriers have returned to the top flight for the first time since it was re-branded as the Premier League and now have the task of signing players in the summer window to make sure they are ready to fight for survival.

Who Wagner brings in, though, remains to be seen with it seeming as though he is keen to keep the on-loan Liverpool stopper at the club.

Indeed, Wagner said:

“I will speak with Jurgen for sure as well, not only about Danny but about what has happened.”

For sure, then, it appears that we could see the Welshman staying in Yorkshire for 2017/18 though his impressive performances in the Championship may have got him into Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

Time, then, will only tell.
