According to The Mirror, Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva could be on the way to Brighton in the summer window as the Seagulls look to establish themselves in the top flight.
The men from the Amex have not been in the top flight since it was rebranded as the Premier League and so there can be no doubt that they’ll need extra players to come in with experience of the division.
Certainly, then, Lucas would be able to provide that with us still not sure over whether or not he is going to stay at the club past the summer window.
He has enjoyed more minutes of late thanks to our injury issues but there is a feeling that when everyone is fit as well as if and when we sign new stars in the summer, that he will be knocked further down the pecking order.
A move to Brighton, then, could be tempting.
