We’re looking forward to seeing what Steven Gerrard can contribute with the U18’s next season and it seems as though he is all for helping out lower down the age groups too.
The Reds legend returned to the club earlier this season with the idea that he would learn the ropes at different levels of the club.
And, in light of that, he is now going to be in charge of the U18’s from next season as the coaching staff at the club undergoes a little bit of a reshuffle.
The interest on the U18’s performance, then, will surely be heightened but in the meantime our former captain has been helping out with signing some young kids to the academy – as per the club’s official Twitter account:

An exciting time for these young Reds, then, and it remains to be seen if any can follow in Gerrard’s footsteps.
