As quoted by beIN Sports – via the Liverpool Echo – reported Reds target Kylian Mbappe has been speaking about his future ahead of the summer window.
The Reds have been linked with the young French star who has enjoyed a seriously impressive season in 2016/17.
Indeed, he has helped sum up what Monaco are all about at the moment and his goals and pace certainly helped them win the Ligue 1 title in fine style this year.
Of course, though, he is going to be linked with plenty of names over the summer with the Reds also getting touted of late.
Mbappe, though, seems like the kind of player who wants to just be out on the pitch more than anything else and that has been reflected by his latest comments with him saying:
“I will make a choice based on my sporting career, and my career is first and foremost. I am at an age where I need to play, and that will be paramount.”
Liverpool, then, if they want to sign Mbappe will surely have to assure him of minutes and with our small squad we feel that that could be on the table.
