One of the most interesting stories to come out of the rumour mill of late has to be the one concerning Cesc Fabregas – as per The Daily Star.
As soon as we saw this story emerge yesterday we thought two things.
Firstly, what a momentous move this would be – even if there would be question marks over just whether he’d fit in to the club’s playing style.
And then, secondly, can we really believe it? It’s certainly come from nowhere and it doesn’t seem like a FSG move in any way, shape or form.
Even so, it has got us thinking about whether it could work and, indeed, who might be better options for different reasons.
Here, then, are two alternatives we think the Reds should consider to any Cesc Fabregas move…
