The Reds’ last game of this season came about yesterday as we hosted Middlesbrough at home with Champions League football riding on it.
Of course, we all knew exactly how important a victory was going to be with it the only way to make sure we were definitely going to contest the premier European competition next year.
And, with Arsenal just a point behind us going into kick-off, the pressure really was on at Anfield yesterday afternoon.
But, fortunately, the Reds handled it superbly as we ran out 3-0 winners to get ourselves into the Champions League play-off places.
