The summer transfer window is very close to opening now and we’re certainly seeing the rumour mill act accordingly with all manner of names getting produced.
Indeed, whilst we should be used to seeing players getting linked with the club it is at this point in the year where names that we have never really heard mentioned before start cropping up.
And that, is where this particularly story is heading with French outlet La Depeche du Midi – via The Express – saying that we’re looking at Gaetan Laborde of Bordeaux.
Here, then, is a name that we won’t have really seen before but, if the report is to be believed, it could be one we start getting used to.
The striker scored 13 goals last season for his club and though that isn’t a massive number he is still young leaving the inevitable suggestion that he is a typical Jurgen Klopp signing – should it actually go through.
