According to The Liverpool Echo, the Reds are willing to wait things out in the chase for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with him apparently not one of our main targets.

The Arsenal midfielder is seemingly unhappy at the club at the moment and a rumoured move to Liverpool has been touted for some time.

Indeed, it’s thought Jurgen Klopp is a fan of him, too, but there are greater priorities than him in the market at the moment and so the Reds are ready to stay patient.

Indeed, it looks as though they will wait to see exactly what happens in terms of Oxlade-Chamberlain signing a new deal at Arsenal before attempting a move.

In the meantime, then, we might go after other players in the knowledge that a £25 million bid would likely be enough to get the England international should things fall that way.
