The Mo Salah deal has been spoken about at great length over the last few months and it does look to be nearing a positive conclusion now.
Indeed, there’s been times in recent weeks where the deal has looked in serious jeopardy but it now seems to be all but done with goal.com saying that a medical for the Egyptian could happen this week.
The 25-year-old, if he signs, would prove our most prominent acquisition of this window so far and we are certainly excited to see him in the line-up if it does come to pass.
Indeed, he was superb last season for AS Roma as they recorded a whopping 87 points in Serie A and so we can only hope he brings that talent to Merseyside.
