According to German outlet Revier Sport, Max Meyer is seriously considering a move away from Schalke this summer and will weigh up his options after the European U21 Championships.
The young German is currently representing his nation at the tournament in Poland and will be in the final but after that he could decide that a move away from his current club is best for his career.
He could, then, be open to a move to Liverpool with the Reds having been linked with him this summer already and so if Jurgen Klopp can make the case for signing for us he may be one of our acquisitions in the window.
Of course, it’s all hypothetical at the moment but Meyer does at least seem to want to leave and so we might just be able to benefit from that.
