According to The Times, both Newcastle and Middlesbrough are eager to sign Sheyi Ojo in what is looking set to be quite the battle for the winger.
The young left sided attacker has plenty expected of him at the moment but there can be no doubt that he needs to be playing more first team football.
At Liverpool, though, he is unlikely to get that this season coming and so a move to one of the north-east clubs might just prove beneficial in the long run.
Who gets him on loan, then, remains to be seen as, whilst Newcastle can offer him Premier League experience, we’d hazard a guess that Middlesbrough would be more likely to afford him more minutes on the pitch.
We’ll have to see, then, what club and player decide is best.
