According to The Daily Mail, Liverpool and league rivals Arsenal have asked to be kept up to date with the situation Riyad Mahrez is in at Leicester City.
The Algerian winger won the league with the Foxes, of course, but things since have not been as plain sailing with it apparent that he wants to leave the club this summer.
For sure, then, the men from the King Power Stadium will be eager to get as much as possible for him if they decide to sell up and both the Reds and the Gunners could be in the mix.
However, it appears that there could also be competition from the likes of AS Roma in Serie A with them already having seen a bid get rejected for the player.
