According to Gazzetta dello Sport – via Calciomercato – Inter Milan are monitoring Mamadou Sakho and considering a move for him before Deadline Day.
The Reds have not played Mamadou Sakho for a long, long time now and it does appear a matter of when and not if in terms of him being let go for good.
Of course, a fair few of us would like to see him given another chance to play under Jurgen Klopp but it looks as though the boss is not going to entertain that idea any time soon.
For sure, then, the Frenchman will be weighing up his options with Deadline Day less than a week away and it seems as though Inter Milan are keen on trying to bring him in before then.
The Serie A side is looking to reassert itself in Italy and if they sign the powerful Frenchman they might just feel that they are a step closer to doing that.
