According to The Mirror, Philippe Coutinho has told Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp that he will not play for the club again, even if it costs him a place at the World Cup next summer.
This situation has started to really spiral out of control now with it seeming as though the player will stop at nothing to force a move through to Barcelona.
Of course, the club has maintained that he will not be going anywhere but there is little you can do if a player is going to go on strike and so it’s going to be interesting to see how this one gets resolved.
For sure, the Reds can’t let this drag on and impact the new season so either we let him go or we somehow manage to see him stay for the campaign and, most importantly, play.
