As quoted by the club’s official website, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been reflecting on another frustrating result for the Reds.
September has not been a good month for the men from Anfield with them losing twice and drawing twice in all competitions with last night’s result a 2-0 defeat to Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.

And, rather familiarly, it was a game that saw the Reds dominate going forwards for long spells before getting undone by some questionable defending and then an admittedly good strike from Islam Slimani.
Klopp, then, reflected on the result and said that the Reds are always working on defending – even though that has been the main criticism so far this season of the team.
He said:
“We do it all the time. Defending is different things, it’s common together defending and it’s individual defending, it’s one-on-one situations, it’s two-on-one situations.”
Klopp, then, will need to keep the work up on the training ground as this defending issue is becoming a real problem for us.
