As quoted by the club’s official website, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he is disappointed with the 2-2 draw with Sevilla last night.

The Reds made their Champions League group stage return last night against the Spanish side and were the better team thanks to some seriously good attacking play.

We were, however, not as clinical as we should have been and defensively we were once again suspect leaving us to only have a point to show for our efforts.

Jurgen, then, was not best pleased with the result, much like most of us, and he had this to say when reflecting on things after the game:

“Frustrated? I’m not sure about this word but I’m not happy of course about this [the result,] but I am happy about a big part of the game.”

Klopp, then, was at least pleased with the performance of the players but the result was not what we wanted – particularly at home – and so now we face two away games in Europe with Spartak Moscow and Maribor on the agenda.
