According to German outlet Bild, Liverpool are eyeing yet another Bundesliga star – this time in the form of Dayot Upamecano.
The Reds have been linked with a whole host of players from the German top flight in recent times with it more than likely having something to do with Jurgen Klopp’s arrival.
Indeed, we’ve also signed players from the league with the likes of Loris Karius coming in and Joel Matip arriving, whilst Naby Keita also becomes a Red from next summer.
And, according to the report, Keita’s team-mate at Red Bull Leipzig, Dayot Upamecano, could be the next to come in.

An 18-year-old central defender, Upamecano more than makes up for his lack of years with talent and is widely regarded as one of the best centre-halves around for his age.
For sure, then, with our defensive issues he could be someone worth looking at but, let’s be honest, we’d rather someone a bit more established ahead of him.
