According to Sport1 via The Mirror, Liverpool are interested in Red Bull Leipzig striker Timo Werner but other clubs are also thought to be keen – most namely Real Madrid.
The Reds have seemingly had a slight interest in the striker in recent months but nothing really came of things as he remained with the Bundesliga side.

The striker does look to be a typical Klopp player, though, with his pace allowing him to spearhead fast counter attacks – as his recent goal against Hamburg showed last Friday.
If the Reds do want him, though, it seems as though we’ll have to take on Madrid with Los Blancos apparently targeting him now that they have lost out on signing Kylian Mbappe.
The next transfer window is months away though, and so we’re not going to lose too much sleep about a potential battle with the Spanish club.
