According to Italian outlet Calciomercato – via talksport – Liverpool are potentially going to make a bid for Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij in the transfer window in January.
The Reds have once again seen that their defence is not good enough this season with mistakes happening already aplenty and so we’re all calling out for a new centre-half.

Who that is, though, remains to be seen with Virgil van Dijk set to be re-integrated into the Southampton side after all that happened during the summer.
It seems, then, that the Reds are switching targets and Stefan de Vrij’s name is once again coming up in the rumour mill with him always getting linked away from Lazio it seems.
With the window not open for months, though, it’s probably best for our sanity we don’t think too much about who we could have.
