The Reds finally recorded a win in September as they beat Leicester City at the King Power Stadium 3-2 in a thrilling encounter.
The men from Anfield came into this game knowing that three points was a must as both Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Tottenham all winning earlier in the day.
And, after a superb start that saw us go 2-0 up, we managed to keep our noses in front for the rest of the game.
Indeed, it could have been worse had Simon Mignolet not saved Jamie Vardy’s penalty but, ultimately, he did and the Reds took a much-needed three points.
