Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp is looking to fix Liverpool’s problem in defence, and he has decided to look into the transfer market for a big move.

According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Klopp is considering a move for Real Madrid shotstopper, Keylor Navas, who has an uncertain future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Real Madrid number 1 is reported to have asked his agent to listen to any offer to leave the Los Blancos, and as a result, Liverpool are looking to cash in on the opportunity.

Recent statistics have evidenced that Liverpool’s current first-choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has the worst save percentage in the whole of Premier League, which is a worrying sign for the Reds.

It is reported that Klopp has now become impatient to replace the struggling Belgian, and Keylor Navas can be the perfect replacement for him at a reasonable price.

If the reports by Diario Gol are to be believed, Navas wants a move away from the Spanish giants, and he can arrive at Anfield with plenty of experience on his back. This Liverpool side needs a lot of improvement defensively, and Navas can be a good solution between the sticks.

The Anfield outfit currently have the worst record defensively among the top six, conceding 16 goals in the first 10 games, four times as many as arch-rivals Manchester United.

Even though the arrival of one player may not solve all their problems, signing Navas would surely be a brilliant upgrade on Mignolet, who along with defender Dejan Lovren is considered one of the weakest link in Liverpool’s back-line.
