As quoted by Liverpool’s official website, Trent Alexander-Arnold has said that he expects the goals to start flowing again for the Reds this season.
The men from Anfield have created so many chances this season but, oddly for us, have not put them away in many games this year and that has left us further down the league table than we’d like.
Our win over Maribor that finished 7-0, though, had been coming and it seems as though the players are confident we’re going to be scoring regularly once again this year with that as a turning point.
Certainly, that is what TAA is thinking with him saying:
“The whole team knew we had the goals in us. It was just a matter of when and where, and it happened [at Maribor] and I think that might be the catalyst to get the ball rolling in the games we have going forward.”
The right-back scored in the week but may not play at the weekend with Joe Gomez seemingly being the Premier League right back.
