The fixtures are set to come thick and fast this season now and we’ve got another game to deal with tonight as the Reds take on Maribor in Slovenia.
The international break is already a distant memory after our pretty dull draw with Manchester United at the weekend and we’re certainly looking to see both replaced in our minds with a good showing tonight.
The Reds, then, are in Slovenia ahead of our third Champions League tie of the season and it really is one we need to win to make some serious ground towards the knockout stages.
With Sevilla and Spartak Moscow taking one another on, now is the time for the Reds to put their foot down in Europe and we’re hoping the players respond with three points.
