Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made his return to work on Thursday, after he was admitted into a hospital due to a health scare.

The German national was admitted for tests on Wednesday after he was not feeling well, following which he was discharged from the hospital later that evening. The health scare, eventually, led the manager to miss a training session of the first-team.

However, the former Borussia Dortmund manager was back for work at Melwood by lunchtime on Thursday, and monitored the afternoon training session.

Spain’s Alberto Moreno, Netherlands’ Georginio Wijnaldum, Serbia’s Marko Grujic and Germany’s Emre Can had their first training session together after fulfilling their international duty.

The 50-year-old Klopp was further helped by the improvement of the situation of Sadio Mane, who returned early from international duty for Senegal due to a slight hamstring issue. However, Mane was able to take part in the training session, after he spent two days in recovery and rehab.

Eventually, this means that Liverpool can select their strongest squad this season for their away clash against Southampton on Saturday.

Liverpool also welcome the return of Adam Lallana, who has rejoined the group after a thigh injury, that forced him out of the start of the 2017-18 season.

The Reds’ skipper Jordan Henderson has also declared himself available for the weekend game against Southampton, after a thigh injury of his own ruled him out over Liverpool’s win against West Ham and England’s two international friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
