Speaking to the club’s official website, the Reds’ manager Jurgen Klopp has said that we are better equipped to breaking teams down at Anfield.
One of our main weaknesses in recent years has been putting away those teams that come to Anfield and sit deep. Indeed, we recorded a lot of annoying draws last year and that cost us a serious title challenge amongst other things.
This season, though, we’ve beaten the likes of Huddersfield, Crystal Palace and Maribor who were all defensive at Anfield and it looks like we’re beginning to sort this weakness out.
Indeed, Klopp said:
“When you win you see the result and you can say yes after two games in a row now. Probably the next is coming up against West Ham, I am not sure – we will have to do the analysis first before I say something about this. Yes, we have everything we need for it, that’s 100 per cent.”
