It would make sense to still be reeling from what happened against Sevilla last night as the Reds went from 3-0 up to end the game at 3-3.

A game of two polar opposites for halves is what saw us throw the game away as we let the Spanish side grow in confidence and immediately get on the front foot from the first whistle in the second 45.

It really was a worrying display in the second half after the first made us swell with pride and now we’re hoping we can recover quickly for the game against Chelsea.

As quoted by the club’s official website, then, Jurgen Klopp revealed his take on what happened:

“The description is easy – two different halves. A fantastic first half of my team and in the second half we made the mistake that we didn’t carry on playing football.”

We didn’t carry on playing football, that’s for sure, and that is a pretty damning verdict.
