In an interview with goal – via the club’s official website – Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has revealed that he never plans to settle and is always striving to do more.
The Brazilian star has been a great player for us up to this point with him improving a great deal since he first arrived.
He is now a far more complete player and that is why clubs like Barcelona have been interested in signing him.
We’re yet to really discover whether or not he’ll stay past this season or move on but it seems as though he’s always looking for the next challenge.
He said:
“I have never wanted to settle, because I know that improvement is something that doesn’t stop. There are always new things you can pick up and many ways to develop. I’m happy with how much I’ve grown, but I’m not finished yet.”
He either means he’s not settling for what he has with Liverpool or he’s not settling without playing elsewhere and we can only hope he means the former.
