Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Marko Grujic needs to start playing more but does not know whether that will be with us or not.
The Reds have been going along nicely in recent weeks and have employed a rotation policy that has so far yielded results but also kept the squad fresh.
Young midfielder Grujic, though, is not a part of that at the moment and it has been hinted at by his agent that a loan deal could be ideal for the player.
When asked about that, then, Klopp seemed to agree – as he was quoted in the print version of the Liverpool Echo as saying:
“He’s right, Marko deserves to play more now.
“If it’s not possible here then we need to think about it (a loan).
“I like the boy a lot. He has made progress like hell. His heading is outstanding but he doesn’t make the squad a lot which isn’t the best thing for him for sure.
“We will think about it. We always want to help the players. First of all as a club we have to think about ourselves.”
Let’s see, then, if Grujic is given a chance to shine elsewhere.
