According to the print version Spanish outlet Don Balon, Liverpool could benefit from Barcelona apparently having Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic on their radar.
The Reds have seen Philippe Coutinho linked with Barca for some time and many think another bid could happen in January, though we’d say nothing will happen until summer at least.
And now, according to this report, we might get to keep the Brazilian for longer if Barca decide to sign the Juventus midfielder Pjanic instead.
The Turin-based star is a very similar player to Coutinho of similar calibre and so it would be strange if Barcelona went after both.
In the nicest possible way, then, we hope that they do go after the Serie A star instead of our number 10 in the coming windows.
