Liverpool will take on FC Porto in the last 16 of the Champions League this season with the draw just being made at UEFA HQ.
It was a tough weekend for the Reds as we lost further ground in the Premier League title race and you get the impression that we may have to now focus on a top four place and European glory.
Whether we can do that or not, though, remains to be seen with the first leg set to be played at Porto and then the second leg at Anfield which we all know can be of vital importance.
The ties will be played next year, after the January transfer window and it’ll be interesting to see if the Reds sign anyone new to help us with the challenge Europe.
We’re eagerly awaiting this game, then, and can’t wait to see if the Reds progress.
