According to L’Equipe, Liverpool are looking into the potential signing of Thomas Lemar in the January window in what would be an incredible turnaround.
The Reds were heavily linked with Lemar late on in the transfer window in the summer but it looked as though, if anyone was going to sign him, it would be Arsenal.
However, nothing came to pass and Lemar is still at Monaco but we cannot forget the talent he still has at his disposal, despite Monaco’s not as impressive season this year.
Indeed, according to the report a €90 million could be placed which is £79.46m in our currency and that would certainly be a big deal.
Whether Monaco want to sell mid-season is another thing, whilst it also appears this might pave the way for Philippe Coutinho to exit next summer.
