We should warn you, not every transfer rumour in January seems believable and that would seem to be the case with the latest story from Don Balon.
We’ve seen before some pretty left-field and more than unexpected reports come out during the windows over the years and the Spanish outlet is the latest to run with one.
Indeed, according to them the Reds have opened talks with James Rodriguez who is at Bayern Munich right now.
When he was at Real Madrid we saw similar reports come to nothing and we’ve got the distinct feeling that that might be the case.
However, we still have to cover it if it is there and it would certainly be a surprise move with nothing really hinted at in recent weeks or months.
And, as well as that, we’re not sure if he’d even fit in to our playing style.
