Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has hinted that he wants his future resolved this month after he was dropped for the game with Manchester City.

The Belgian stopper has been our main goalkeeper for much of this season but was dropped for the City clash in a surprise move by Jurgen Klopp.

It’s also become apparent that Klopp now sees Loris Karius as the number one goalkeeper for the rest of this season if he plays well – though he still made a mistake against City.

Naturally, then, Mignolet is probably not best pleased with that and he has hinted that things cannot stay like this for long – suggesting he might want a move.

As quoted by Sporza he said:

“Of course I also have to think about my own future, the only thing I can do is focus on the training and do my best, I’m 30 years old and the World Cup is coming in. This situation can not last too long, that’s clear. I can not say more about it.”
