According to Forza Roma, Liverpool star Mo Salah has recommended that the club signs one of his former team-mates from the Serie A side.
We signed the Egyptian in the summer, of course, and he has been our best player since with a glut of goals and assists being plundered as well as some lightning pace and trickery.
He’s proved a real hit up to now, then, and he seems keen to help the Reds out with transfer business too with this story in mind.
Indeed, he has told the club to try and sign Emerson Palmieri with a reported £17m fee being placed on the full-back’s head.
Of course, our left-back area is looking stronger with Andy Robertson’s recent performances and so it remains to be seen if we go after Palmieri with the problem area perhaps not such a big issue any more.
