Liverpool hosted Manchester City at Anfield last night in what turned out to be one of the games of the season in the Premier League so far.
Much was being made of the suggestion that the Reds were going to be the side to beat Manchester City at long last in the competition.
It certainly started well, too, as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain drove the ball home fairly early on. Before half-time, though, it would be 1-1 as Leroy Sane struck for City.
After half-time, though, the Reds were rampant as they bullied City into giving the ball away and race into a 4-1 win with Anfield absolutely rocking.
The Reds, though, still found time to get us on edge with two late City goals but we saw things out for a entertaining three points.
