Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has confirmed that on-loan Liverpool midfielder will be given plenty of game time between now and the end of the season.
The promotion chasing Bluebirds took Grujic under their wing earlier this week and he’ll be a part of their side in the Championship for the rest of the year.
It’s obviously good for all involved too. He needed to play, Cardiff get a good young footballer and the Reds get to see him progress in a more senior environment than in the U23 side.
He looks set to play, too, with Wales Online quoting Warnock as saying:
“We haven’t had to give assurances, but we get financially ‘punished’ if we don’t.
“But that’s quite acceptable and, to be honest, a good deal or both parties, because I want to play him, I’m not signing him to make the numbers up. He’s a good lad, and a good player.”
It looks like we’ll get to see a fair bit of the midfielder in the weeks and months to come then.
