Liverpool have finally seen the Philippe Coutinho deal go through this month with a cool £142 million winging its way to the club coffers.
The saga had run since last summer where we held firm in terms of keeping the player for what would seem the rest of this season.
Clearly, though, Coutinho was still adamant he wanted to leave, even mid-season, and so we have had to let him go for a massive price.
Time, then, for the Reds to think about who they might be able to bring in as his replacement or where they might strengthen the squad elsewhere and that is what we’ve thought about too.
