Former Liverpool defender Phil Babb thinks that Mo Salah could be now worth over £100 million in the transfer market.

In recent weeks we’ve seen the transfer window is certainly showing no sign of stopping when it comes to massive fees.

Indeed, we signed Virgil van Dijk for £75 million whilst Philippe Coutinho was let go for £146 million and those prices only serve to raise the benchmark when comparing to other players.

That is what Babb has done with Salah, then, with him saying he’d cost over £100m after scoring his 20th and 21st Premier League goals against Tottenham at the weekend:

“It’s well over £100m now.

“His low centre of gravity and his ability to just waltz past players, it’s just an exceptional goal.”

Babb was speaking on Sky Sports News’ PL Daily show and it is hard to disagree with the former Red.
