There’s been recent murmurings that Liverpool could make an ambitious attempt to sign Christian Eriksen from Spurs.
The Danish international has been in superb form for Spurs this season with him scoring and laying on goals on a regular basis.
At 25-years-old, too, he’d surely be a good signing for us but there really is surely not much chance of it happening.
Indeed, the rumours have come about wrongly, too, with them originating from an opinion piece in the Liverpool Echo.
The Echo has purely stated that one of the players who could be an alternative to Thomas Lemar is Eriksen but they even admit that it is certainly outlandish.
Some, however, have taken this and reported it as a transfer link but that is simply wide of the mark.
We’d surely like it to happen, but there’s nothing substantial to it at the moment.
