According to the Independent, Liverpool are leading the race for Thomas Lemar at the moment ahead of the summer window.
Summer seems a good way off at the moment, especially given that we’ve just seen the January window pass but the rumour mill never stops and so neither do the links and stories.
Lemar is one we’ve seen for a while, too, with him being linked last summer and it would seem that he is the potential replacement for Philippe Coutinho that we’re waiting for.
It seems likely that he’s going to leave Monaco sooner rather than later and it would also appear that the Reds are in the driving seat in order to get him in the new window.
Let’s not get excited yet, though, as there is still a long way to go.
