Anderlecht and Club Brugge are both looking to sign Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi on loan for next season, according to Megasportarena.com.

The Nigerian website believe that the 20 year old has impressed the Belgian heavyweights whilst playing in the Jupiler Pro League for Mouscron.

Awoniyi has been on a succession of loan spells since he joined the Reds in 2015 because of work permit issues. He has played for FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen as well as Mouscron during the last three years.

He did secure a visa before his latest loan, but he was sent out to Belgium in order to get first team opportunities.

The striker has performed well this season, scoring ten goals and providing seven assists in 31 games, and he looks ready to move up to another level.

Liverpool are said to be prepared to let Awoniyi out on loan again, but only to a club in the Champions League. With Anderlecht and Club Brugge competing in the Jupiler Pro League playoffs for the league title; both teams will likely fit the criteria.
