Bayern Munich will attempt to beat Liverpool and Arsenal to the signing of Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, according to Telefoot.

The French TV station believes both the Reds and the Gunners will return with bids for the France international in the summer, but they will now have to contend with the Bundesliga giants as well.

Liverpool reportedly submitted a €90m offer in August for the 22 year old while Arsenal had a bid accepted worth €100m but the deal couldn’t be completed before the close of the transfer window

Monaco are keen to get a similar figure for Lemar this summer with the club’s president Vadim Vasilyev warning interested clubs that the player is “worth a lot.”

Whether Liverpool will return for the winger, it remains to be seen. Liverpool Echo journalist James Pearce reported in February that the club had cooled their interest in the player, and will look at other targets at the end of the season.
