Liverpool have plenty of work to do in the summer transfer market and Jurgen Klopp’s task at Anfield is made even more difficult by the imminent loss of Germany international Emre Can.

The 24-year-old, currently sidelined with injury, may have played his last game for the Reds as his contract has just a few months remaining and he’s been reluctant to put pen to paper on an agreement, increasing the chances of a free transfer occurring.

According to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWebthat’s exactly what will happen as they claim Can’s proposed move to Juventus is in it’s final stages and a deal is expected to be completed swiftly.

Can’s proposed move to Turin just requires a few more clauses to be agreed and the transfer is likely to be concluded in the next few weeks, with Can then moving to the Serie A title chasers upon the end of his contract at Anfield.

Juventus have been free to discuss a pre-contractual agreement with Can since the turn of the year and have long been touted as favourites in the chase for his services.
