Liverpool fans on social media were having a lovely time at bitter rival’s Everton expense after the Toffees confirmed Sam Allardyce had left the club.

The Toffees confirmed in a brief statement, via their official website, that Allardyce had left his post as manager after just six months at Goodison Park.

Reds supporters couldn’t help comment on their bitter rivals’ decision to change manager yet again as they mocked the Toffees decision to let go off Allardyce, with some being more direct about their opinion then others.

One Reds fan tweeted that he was hoping Allardyce stayed at the Toffees as it meant his club’s rivals played anti football and showed no ambition.

While another supporter stated that maybe after changing manager yet again, Toffees fans needed a reality check and the quicker they realise that the better.

Allardyce took over the reigns at Goodison Park in November following Ronald Koeman’s departure and took over the club when they were sat 13th in the Premier League.

Under the former England’s managers guidance, the Toffees finished the season sat in eighth with 49 points.

It meant that the Reds finished the Premier League season, with 26 more points than their local rivals.
