Rangers fans have delivered an emphatic thumbs-up on Twitter after Michael Beale quit Liverpool to join as first-team coach.
The 37-year-old has left his role as head of coaching at the Premier League giants’ academy to follow Steven Gerrard from Anfield to Ibrox.
Rangers announced on their official website and social media channels that Beale is the new first-team coach and has joined amid a blitz of arrivals from Liverpool.
Beale heads to Glasgow at the same time as Tom Culshaw, the new technical coach, and Jordan Milsom, the head of performance, and a month after the appointment of Gerrard and Gary McAllister as his number two.
The former winger quit playing at the age of 21 after failing to make the grade at Charlton and learned the coaching ropes at the Chelsea academy before joining Liverpool.
He working his way up the coaching ladder at the Merseyside outfit before heading to Rangers and has also spent a season as assistant manager at Sao Paulo.
Rangers supporters are delighted that Beale has became another addition from Liverpool.
