Liverpool have successfully got promising attacker Rhian Brewster to commit his future to the club and this should see Danny Ings pack his bags this summer.

The 18-year-old forward is set to be included in the Reds’ senior squad next season as he is about to sign a five-year contract in order to stay at Anfield for the foreseeable future, according to The Times.

This means that room needs to be made for Brewster in the senior squad in order for the promising talent to get the opportunities he needs and the ones his talent deserves.

As Daniel Sturridge has a shortage of options when it comes to leaving the club, as reported by The Sun, it seems much more easier for the Reds to offload Danny Ings in order to make room for Brewster.

The 25-year-old forward, who earns £60,000-a-week at Anfield (Source: Total Sportek), should have plenty of clubs willing to come in and take him off the Reds book despite his injury record.

Ings unfortunately hasn’t worked out at the club, mostly due to his unfortunate injury issues, and must pack his bags this summer if he wants to get his career back on track.

The forward only managed to feature eight times in the Premier League in his 2017/18 campaign and ended up with only one goal to show from his outings.

Ings was due to struggle to feature in the 2018/19 campaign for the first-team before Brewster was known to be moving on up to the senior squad and it seems a certainty that his chances will be few and far between.

If the 25-year-old was to stay at Anfield he could soon find himself with no team willing to take a chance on him as he will become forgotten so it’s better for him to leave in this window while he’ll have plenty of clubs vying for his signature.

Therefore as Brewster has committed his future to the Reds, Ings must now swiftly pack his bags in order to force through a move to ensure he gets regular football next season.
